Codsall Magazine
The journal takes the form of monthly articles for the Codsall Parish Magazine
and each article can be accessed by clicking on the appropriate
link below. The first series (September 2001 to July 2004) was headed
"Queen's Counsel" and the second series (August 2004 onwards)
"Faith at Work". You can return to the
frame navigation here.
Faith at Work
Following ordination in July 2004, the series continued under the new name
"Faith at Work" to reflect on experience of local ministry both within the parish
of Codsall and in the workplace on behalf of the BCUIM (Black Country Urban
Industrial Mission). Just as there is a general understanding that learning
progresses throughout the whole of life, so there is a dawning awareness that
spirituality is a characteristic of the secular as well as the sacred. Seeking
the holy at the heart of life is fundamental to human existence, whether in the
Church or in the World.

Queen's counsel
This journal was started when it became known that I had been accepted for
training at The Queen's Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education in
Birmingham in preparation for non-stipendiary ministry in the Church of England.
The first 35 articles were headed "Queen's counsel" and represented a current
stage in the 3-year West Midlands Ministerial Training Course (WMMTC) but
sometimes also sought to pick up a topical thought for the local Church.

This site was developed to contain work by Mike Fox relating to the WMMTC course
and subsequent experience during ministry in the parish of Codsall and the
BCUIM.
